Dennis Crowle

Dennis Crowley is an experienced executive with nearly 30 years in technology and security industries. He currently manages investment firm Belenus Holdings and is a partner at private equity firm North & Webster, SSG. His key achievement was founding Apollo Security International, growing it from startup to $90M in revenue before selling to Allied Universal, where he became Senior VP leading technology integration efforts. He holds degrees from UMass Amherst, Harvard, and Suffolk Law School (JD), and currently teaches Entrepreneurial Thinking at Suffolk University.

Mike Gips is principal of Global Insights in Professional Security, LLC and partner in the Knowledgebase of Insider Threats. He formerly served as Chief Global Knowledge Officer at ASIS International and wrote nearly 1,000 articles as editor of Security Management magazine. He holds a B.A. from Tufts University, J.D. from Harvard Law School, and CPP/Chartered Security Professional designations. Security magazine named him one of the Most Influential People in Security in 2019.

Jeffrey A. Slotnick, CPP, PSP is President of Setracon Enterprise Security Risk Management Services and Founder of Safe Washington. A retired U.S. Army Engineer Corps Command Sergeant Major, he's an internationally recognized security consultant with 28+ years of experience. As an ISO Lead Auditor, Jeff specializes in disaster resilience, organizational resilience management, and enterprise security risk management with expertise in public works, utilities, and critical infrastructure. He serves as Senior Regional Vice President for ASIS International and Faculty Advisor for University of Phoenix's Cyber Security program.

Shannon McDougall is the Chief Safety Officer at City of Hope. Previously, she was Regional Director of Healthcare Operations at Allied Universal, overseeing $123M in business across NW and SW regions. With 19 years in healthcare leadership, she specializes in healthcare security, safety, and emergency management. She holds an MBA, is Board Certified in Health and Safety (CHSP), and is pursuing a PhD in Organizational Psychology. She serves as Vice Chair of ACHE So Cal IE Chapter and secretary of IAHSS.

Tony Dong is an enterprise risk management professional with 3+ years advising multi-million dollar organizations. He has corporate security experience and served in the Canadian Armed Forces reserves. Tony co-founded Äventyr, a video monitoring company using AI surveillance technology. He holds a Master's in Enterprise Risk Management from Columbia University and a Bachelor's in Criminology from Simon Fraser University.

He serves as CEO for both the group's technology company (focused on critical infrastructure protection) and security services company, unifying operations under his leadership since 2012. He holds an MBA from Open University Business School UK, Executive Education from Stanford, a Master's in Risk, Crisis & Resilience Management from Portsmouth University, and CPP certification from ASIS International. Rene has been an active ASIS member since 2009 and currently serves as Chapter Chair for ASIS Romania Chapter 277.

Yves Duguay is CEO and founder of HCiWorld, helping clients implement effective security solutions aligned with their risk profiles. He brings executive experience from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Air Canada, and the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA). At RCMP, he directed the National Program to combat Money Laundering and organized the first international money laundering conference. At Air Canada, he developed Canada's first IOSA certified Security Management System and presided over the IATA Security Committee during 9/11. At CATSA, he oversaw passenger screening at 89 Canadian airports and led the response to the 2009 "underwear bomber" attack. He holds an MBA from McGill/HEC Montreal, ICD certification, and serves as the Canadian representative to NATO's CEP group of civil experts.

The former CEO of a world leader in incident management software solutions, he worked with over 1500 companies across 142 countries in establishing their incident management programs and has a proven and established background in working on C level teams, developing strategy, budgeting, planning, Board Level discussions and managing large P & L divisions, companies and people. He is a respected leader, frequent speaker & educator on software, technology and digital transformation. He loves to travel for both business and pleasure, is an avid hockey player and plays lead guitar in a 50 something’s band called the Captains of Industry.

Mivil Deschênes is a security industry pioneer with 30+ years of experience. He served 20 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, retiring as Lieutenant Colonel and Deputy Provost Marshall, receiving the Canadian Decoration and Special Service Medal for NATO service. As Global Head of Security for leading mining and engineering companies, Mivil developed corporate security strategies, managed crisis responses including kidnappings and natural disasters, and oversaw all aspects of security operations across continents. He's an active member of ISMA, IACP, CACP, and ASIS International, holds a Certified Fraud Examiner designation, and has a Bachelor's degree in Law and Criminology from Carleton University. Mivil is fluently bilingual and frequently speaks on security issues.

Chuck is currently executive producer and host of SecurityGuyTV.com and the ASIS Security Management Highlights Podcast, conducting over 2,000 interviews with security experts worldwide.

Martin Girard is Director of Corporate Security & Integrity at Bell, leading teams in investigations, retail loss prevention, fraud control, lawful access, and executive protection. He's been with Bell for 30 years, including 25 years in Corporate Security. Martin is an active member of the Canadian Association of Chief of Police (CACP) and Quebec Association of Chief of Police (ADPQ), where he served on the Board of Directors for over 7 years. He holds the Certified Fraud Examiner designation and certificates from Georgetown University and McGill University.

Michael Martin is CEO of Circadian Risk, developing software that disrupts traditional risk analysis. Previously, he was President of Allied Universal's Canadian Operations (2016-2018), tripling revenues, and served as Regional VP at Guardsmark overseeing their largest portfolios across the Midwest, Canada, and UK. Martin is a 2020 Michigan State University Distinguished Alumni Award recipient and Wall of Fame inductee. He holds a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice from MSU and MBA from University of Michigan, plus studied at Cambridge University and Bramshill Police Staff College in England. He's a licensed private investigator and active leader in ASIS International and other professional organizations.

Ricky Davis began his security career during 27 years of honorable service in the U.S. Army, serving in combat, security force advisory, and intelligence positions worldwide supporting national security objectives. He is Founder and CEO of RICE Security and Consulting, LLC, providing nationwide physical and cybersecurity solutions using Enterprise Security Risk Management (ESRM) methodology and ISO 31000 standards. Ricky holds a Master's in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University and a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice from Excelsior College, plus CPTED designation. He serves as ASIS International Regional Vice President and sits on the Board of Directors for the International Organization of Black Security Executives.
