Dennis Crowley is the Managing Member of Belenus Holdings, LLC, an investment, business, and management consulting firm. In addition, he is a partner at North & Webster, SSG, a private equity firm, and serves on several advisor boards including ThreatMinder, Ghost Robotics, Robotic Assistant Devices, Asylon, and Intellenet. He is an accomplished Senior Executive and Entrepreneur with nearly 30 years of experience across the technology, services, and security industries. Leveraging extensive hands-on expertise building and managing businesses from the ground up, he has worked with startups and growth-stage organizations to develop service offerings and launch new products to drive long-term, sustainable growth. Dennis is particularly skilled in scaling business operations, developing client relations, strategic planning, sales and marketing, human resources, quality control, security operations, and corporate law.
Dennis was a Founder of Apollo Security International and has served in numerous positions throughout his tenure, including General Counsel and President. After negotiating a successful sale to Allied Universal, he served as Senior Vice President of the Integration Technology Group at the multi-billion-dollar global business. Dennis was responsible for overseeing the growth of Apollo from a small business to a major player in the security industry, quadrupling revenue to $90M prior to its sale. He spearheaded the expansion of Apollo’s operations into the Midwest, Rocky Mountains, and Texas. This positioned the company for acquisition by Allied Universal, the largest security force in America. As a Senior Vice President at Allied Universal, he was responsible for leading the effort to create new product offerings for the company to launch state-of-the-art technologies including robots, AI, and situational intelligence/threat awareness tools in conjunction with existing technology to reimagine manned security guard services.
Dennis holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts- Amherst, a CSS in Business Administration from Harvard University, and a JD, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School. Dennis also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Sawyer School of Business at Suffolk University where he teaches Entrepreneurial Thinking. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), the Massachusetts Bar, and Intellenet.
